Inventory/Customer Service Specialist

Northwest Fence & Supply is a wholesale distributor of fencing products. Established in 1992, the company is very disciplined and able to provide long term employment for the right individual. Most of our employees have worked for us for over 10 years.
We are seeking a full time Inventory Specialist/Customer Service Agent. Most of your time will be spent managing our extensive inventory database to ensure the information is correct and up to date. Duties also include counting inventory, purchasing and receiving products, and reporting results to the Director of Sales and Purchasing and President.
Essential Job Functions:
Inventory management - Counting inventory outside and in our shop
Data entry
Making and receiving inventory orders
Creating and maintaining excel spread sheets
Customer service at the front counter
Answering Phones

Experience in an office environment
Competent Math Skills
Computer Skills / Microsoft Office 7 / Outlook / Excel - Extensive knowledge of formulas is required
Scanning
Typing
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Detail oriented with the ability to work without supervision
Must be able to work Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
