59 PM MST) Aquatics Assistant Manager (Maintenance/Custodial) General Duties Under the close supervision of the Aquatics Manager, the Aquatics Assistant Manager (Maintenance/Custodial) will perform duties ensuring the pools and facility are well maintained, clean, and safe.
Essential Job Functions Regularly check chemicals, balance pools, clean and fix facility problems Assist the facilities AFO or CPO in maintenance and service of pool equipment Perform daily, weekly, and monthly facility safety checklists to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal code Conduct training with management staff on adhering to local, state, and federal code In coordination with the Aquatics Manager, the Aquatic Assistant Manager (Maintenance/Custodial) will oversee all employees on shift including, but not limited to:
Facility Techs, etc.
Response to patron inquires and concerns Acts as on-site manager in the absence of the Aquatics Manager If Assistant Manager holds a Lifeguard Certification, they will oversee on-deck staff as well Must be able to perform all duties in the Facility Tech job description.
Additionally, employees will be required to assist staff and perform other related work duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Must be a minimum of 17 years old to apply Hold a current First-Aid/CPR/AED Certification or able to obtain re-certification within a month of hiring.
The facility will certify in First-Aid/CPR/AED if applicant does not currently hold certification Must be able to work odd hours including before the pool opens for the day and after it closes Experience Must have communication skills to communicate effectively and efficiently with the staff and guests Possess the knowledge and experience in maintenance pertaining to the aquatic environment Preferred Experience Optional certifications and experience include Lifeguard certification, Aquatic Facility Operator certification or Certified Pool Operator certification.
Schedule This position works a variety of different times and schedule will be determined upon hiring.
Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be included.
