2K a year Clark Business Law, PLLC, a Utah law firm with a national practice, is looking for a legal assistant.
We focus on a wide variety of corporate transactions including real estate, commercial financing, and venture capital transactions.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with drafting and revising documents Research legal and other issues Make time-sensitive federal and state filings Coordinate signatures with clients and attorneys including coordinating DocuSign communications Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Proficient with Microsoft Office (including Excel, Outlook, and Word) and Adobe Acrobat Interpersonal skills that enable taking dictation and verbal direction while editing multiple documents on screen with attorney present Detail-oriented Strong oral and written communication skills, including a strong focus on clear and effective written communication Effective multi-tasking and managing time-sensitive documents Thrives working on individual projects with limited direction and a natural curiosity to figure things out independently, including how to utilize technology and other software (e.
g.
DocuSign) Preferably can become a Utah Notary (which would require Utah residency) Determined to (or very seriously considering) going to a top law school (recent successful employees scored above the 90th percentile on the LSAT) Ideal candidate would have experience working in a law firm or similar environment that required managing deadlines and important documents Job Types:
