Front Desk Receptionist and Customer Service Specialist
Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and professional Customer Service Representative to interact with customers by providing and processing information about our company and products. MUST BE DETAIL ORIENTED. MBI has been in business for over 30 years. We manufacture and sell premium nutritional and personal care products to Healthcare Professionals across the country.
Responsibilities
Successful candidate will handle customer service by telephone, electronically, and face to face by assisting customers in purchasing our products and processing orders. Candidate will also prepare items for shipment by assembling, addressing, and arranging for the transportation of products. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face Answer telephone, screen and direct calls Take and relay messages Provide information to callers Describe a product's features and benefits Greet persons entering organization Prepare letters and documents Operate office equipment Set up and maintain filing systems Respond promptly to customer inquiries Handle and resolve customer complaints Perform customer verifications Manage customers' accounts Keep records of customer interactions and transactions Receive and process cash, check and charge/credit payments Maintain sales records Organize and process merchandise exchanges Stay current with sales prices Process orders given by phone, fax, and online Prepare documents, such as bills of lading and shipping orders Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials. Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping. Lift packages up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications
Previous experience with nutritional products is a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
