Service Writer

Job Description
Goodfellow is requiring a position that provides a connection between our customers and our business. Taking the customer's needs into consideration, our duties of the writer will be to facilitate the transaction between the customer and the company. Job tasks for the service writer revolve around the needs of the customer. They develop relationships with customers and fellow employees through service delivery. Their duties can include tracking Heavy equipment repairs and their causes, fabrication and welding jobs, processing warranties and providing information that contribute to our billing process. Customers profile information is stored in Goodfellow s computer system, which the service writer is responsible for maintaining. Excellent communications skills, knowledge of record keeping, and utilizing computer programs is a must for accomplishing the task requirements. Additional duties of a service writer involve developing cost estimates. When a customer requests a repair, the service writer reviews what parts are needed, and how much time should be allocated to make the repair. This information is conveyed to both the customer and the Manager of the service writer in a timely fashion.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 1-2 years of service experience OR equivalent sales experience with a track record of success
Strong commitment to customer service and relationship building
Ability to communicate and use interpersonal skills at a sustained high level
Capable of multi-tasking and executing in a fast paced environment
Honest, goal-oriented and energetic team playerEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
