Water Spider (Production Support/Inventory Control)
TITLEWater Spider LOCATIONLindon UT STATUSFulltime Hourly DEPARTMENTProduction REPORTING TOVP of Manufacturing Job Summary Water Spider is a lean manufacturing term referring to a person in a productionenvironment who is tasked with keeping work stations fully stocked with materials thus controlling the continuous flow of productivity.
Schedule is four hour days per week MondayThursday.
Occasional overtime will be required.
Essential Job Duties Manage inventory that is controlled by Kanban.
This will include labels corner boards slipsheets gases etc.
Includes unpacking and storing Kanban inventory.
Will drive the development of Kanban for all raw material and components feeding the lines.
Will follow a regular predetermined route and timetable to replenish Kanban.
Will coordinate transfers from LIN to LAL.
Will facilitate correct quantities being issued to and returned from lines.
Coordinate pickup of empty totes and recycling trailers.
Verify quantities on all partial pallets entering or leaving Lindon facility.
Batch reconciliation as necessary.
Any other line support deemed necessary.
Champion continuous improvement.
Promote Safety and abide by GMPs.
Basic Qualifications Observant Must be able to see potential issues before they become a problem.
Understands why their job is important.
Able to master BBF systems and use them effectively.
Dependable Teams must be able to trust that this individual will do all in their power to keep the lines going and inventory is accurate.
Prepared A successful candidate will be able to exhibit a willingness and ability to be prepared for the unexpected and be able to quickly react or change tasks quickly to support production.
Ready for anything Energetic You will be constantly on the go.

Working knowledge of Excel and Word.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Lean experience preferred.
