:Lead Merchandiser
We are looking for a selfmotivated individual to work with seasonal nursery stock in a busy retail environment and assist in supervising the merchandisers in the area.
In addition to merchandising responsibilities the Lead Merchandiser assists the Territory Manager with the training and the scheduling of merchandisers and product shipments to maintain nursery products in several stores.
Build positive relationships with store personnel and management Maintain planogram and MAP integrity Merchandise live goods signage and maintain clean work area for shoppers Assist Territory Manager with the scheduling of merchandisers and product shipments.
Job requirements unloading stocking organizing and signing nursery product inventory of houseplants and daily paperwork maintain presentable displays Physical requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee in order to perform the essential functions of the job.
The employee frequently will be required to stand stoop bend crouch balance and use hands.
The employee is often required to carry push and pull product on racks or pallets.
The employee must frequently lift andor move lbs.
Skills Good communication skills oral and written.
Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
Capable of completing and submitting paperwork in a timely manner.
Must be able to interact with store personnel and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
