Our ideal HR Manager will embody the culture of Opiniion and promote the culture through their actions and enthusiasm.
The HR Manager is responsible for payroll processing, benefits enrollment, new hire onboarding and orientation, recruiting, compiling and maintaining records, and a variety of administrative tasks as needed.
Responsibilities Working closely with hiring managers and leading the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates and assisting with interviews Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department Compiling and maintaining paper and digital employee records Processing payroll and assisting with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits Entering employee data into HRIS Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities Coordinating team events and meetings, as well as management-employee communications Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency Requirements Excellent customer service Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent HR experience aPHR-PHR preferred Experience working in a tech start-up preferred Exceptional oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills to prioritize workload effectively and handle a variety of tasks Motivated self-starter with solid business judgment and a willingness to take on new responsibilities This is a rewarding job that allows a great deal of autonomy and freedom.
Workloads can vary from light to heavy, and time management is critical.
