Fun, upbeat, close-knit dental team looking for a chairside Dental Assistant! Job description below, but here are the important bits:

4. Team player. We function as a team, first and foremost, and need someone who can jump in and help our well-oiled machine run even better.
5. Punctuality. If you're not 10 minutes early, you're late.
6. Excellence. Few people truly understand excellence. We need someone who does.
Things we take as a given: punctuality, honesty, flexibility, dedication, dependability. Divas and drama queens need not apply.
Now for the nitty-gritty: 35-40 hours a week (give or take), Monday - Thursday 7:45 - 5:00-ish. Dental assisting experience an absolute must, both hygiene assisting and chairside treatment. In our experience it takes 2 years to become comfortable with assisting - if you have less experience than that, you'll have to blow us away. Full disclosure: this is is not a low-key kind of place. We are growing quickly and our schedule is hoppin'! We have a lot of fun, but we also have high expectations and it's fast-paced. You've got to bring the hustle!

Doctor has been in practice for 15 years in family & general dentistry with an emphasis on biological and holistic dentistry (if you're not familiar with biological dentistry, please do yourself a favor and look it up). We are an open, goal-driven practice, and believe a job should provide opportunities for learning and personal growth. We hire for personality first and foremost, as that is something we cannot train.
Requirements:
MUSTS: Must love working with people, and be comfortable representing our practice. At least two years professional dental assisting experience required. Good communication skills, bright personality, organization skills, and efficiency are all necessary. Ability to pass a thorough background check and former bosses with good things to say are also absolutely necessary.
WOULD LOVE: Experience with Dentrix and Dexis digital xrays. Some knowledge of biological dentistry, understanding of how dental insurance works, and ability to float between front and back office. If you don't have these things and we're going to have to train you, we need to see serious potential.
