Events/Social Media Coordinator


Essential Functions:
Work with marketing to develop and assist in marketing projects and campaigns including social media, conferences and events
Assist with negotiations for space contracts and book event space, arrange food and beverage, order supplies and audiovisual equipment, make travel arrangements
Assist in maintaining social media presence
Prepare routine and advanced correspondence including letters, emails, memoranda, reports and other documents
Maintain calendar accurately; coordinate scheduled meetings between multiple attendees, schedule various conferences, events and appointments
Assemble, analyze and proofread documents for accuracy and content
Schedule and coordinate travel arrangements and prepare travel itineraries for all sales staff
Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
Explore options and propose alternative solutions to improve the experience and reduce cost
Interact with customers, vendors, associates and partners in a professional manner
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extremely well organized with ability to multi-task responsibilities in a thorough and detailed manner
Strong decision making ability as well as interpersonal and problem solving skills
Ability to maintain trust, credibility, and support of the executive management team while presenting a professional demeanor and appearance
Requirements:
Must be detail oriented
Must be VERY organized and have a system in place for how to accomplish recurring tasks on time and without reminders from others
Has ownership attitude and will not walk away from tasks unfinished
Must be flexible
Is resourceful and able to research solutions rather than deferring issues until someone feeds the answers
Must be excellent with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Must have good grammar and present yourself professionally in writing and on the phone
Must be a proficient proof reader and be able to catch punctuation, spelling, or other grammatical mistakes
Must be comfortable with uploading files from a computer to the internet and downloading and exporting files
Previous experience booking travel and large events
Familiar with scheduling webinars and teleconference events
Must speak English fluently
Must work well with others and actively look for ways to help others
Fundamental understanding of social media platforms
Education:
Marketing related college degree strongly preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
