We are family owned internet retailer focused on pet supplies and baby supplies. We are constantly searching for ways to grow, which includes entering new markets, adding new products, and finding new sales channels. Schedule/Expected Hours:
30-40 hours a week, starting at 8-9 a.m. Pay ranges from $10-$15/hour depending on passing certain standards and time spent with us. There is a 3-month probation period that will start at $8/hour and increase after passing product and information tests.
What You'll be working on:
Customer service (emails/phone calls), order processing (updating orders, printing shipping labels), product research, editing/adding products to online stores. Processing orders through our online stores as well as on Ebay and Amazon. Shipping and packaging orders and receiving inventory shipments.
Our Work Atmosphere
We have a low key, friendly atmosphere, we dress casually but we work hard. We strive to constantly improve and provide our customers with excellent products and service.
Must Have Skills:
Typing: At least 50 words per minute (will be tested)
People Skills: Friendly & personable, comfortable calling people and talking with customers.
Computer Skills:
Excellent working with computers and comfortable working with multiple programs at one time. A Majority of time will be spent using a computer, switching between programs, and performing multiple tasks simultaneously like talking on the phone and updating orders. (Software used: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks, Shipping Software, Email Programs)
Word Processing: Proficient typing, spelling, and writing
Product Packaging: Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
