The Demand Planning Analyst working under the direction of the Demand Planning Manager monitors Inventory usage trends, on hand inventories and other internal and external supply factors to ensure appropriate demand signals are driving company procurement and distribution efforts.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with Wireless Program Managers, and Business leadership to manage and implement installation forecasts, creating unit level demand plans for supply procurement, and distribution.
Ensure demand plan is updated and maintained in a timely manner to accurately drive weekly MRP runs placing purchase requisitions to support demand plan.
Coordinate BOM management to ensure demand plan is driving most current parts working closely with production planner.
Work closely with procurement team to identify shortages, overstocks and other product issues, create action plan and make adjustments as required.
Perform monthly evaluation of projected stock balances, min/max levels, weeks of supply analysis, excess and obsolete inventory and identify forecasted/non forecasted inventory requirements.
Create, manage, and distribute monthly vendor forecast, and vendor specific supply reports as required.
Manage min/max planning for Field office replenishment.
Work to seek improvements to process, technique, and execution, as well as adoption of improved systems and or tools.
Create and publish metrics to evaluate overall plan/process effectiveness.
Prepare Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience in related industry preferred.
Ability to coordinate large projects across multiple workgroups.
Strong Analytical Skills and ability to communicate details clearly and effectively.
Attention to detail, self-motivated, and ability to work under pressure.
Strong grasp of inventory management processes and best practices.
Must have excellent Microsoft Office skills, with expert Excel Skills (e.g. macros, formulas, charts, pivots) Experience with Inventory Management Software, Microsoft Great Plains desirable.
