Nothing is worse than getting a guitar that has not been set up or one that is just "Within Tolerance" I bought one online 2 years ago and it was nice looking and "CHEAP" It wouldn't stay in tune - The nut was not lubed and the tremolo springs and Bridge wasn't set up to the guitar after assemblyChords were flat or sharp after tuning- The intonation had not been checked- The neck truss rod and bridge were not adjusted after assembly making it virtually impossible to play. The strings sat a mighty 1/2 inch off the fret board.- It hurt my fingers to play after 5 minutes. A beginner would quit all together at that point. Strings were slipping off the neck - The neck was improperly seated I said to myself , "What a mess" I put my guitar on my guitar work bench and did the set myself. I am experienced at doing this. There's a good chance your not. It turns out that it actually is a great guitar for the money I invested.
